This turned out to be my worst job yet at getting things together and I didn't even have to do anything. A friend of a friend of the mother of a girl we all know (just sounds better this way), welcomed me into her home. I managed to confuse everything (it was all in perfect English), starting with how to make a simple phone call. Whatever the case, my host turned out to be ridiculously fascinating and generous so I stayed a little longer in Copenhagen than I had originally planned.

For those that know and have heard from Lara, I must agree on several matters. It took me at least three days, but it's true - the people are generally quite attractive. More interesting however, is the complete normalcy of just staring at each other as you pass by. I wasn't sure that blatant photography was as well accepted, so I mainly just have pictures of the buildings. London is still my favorite so far, but Copenhagen is definitely number two. Thank something/one I didn't have to pay for everything. Damn the strong Scandinavian economies. Crap. Shoot. Damn. I'm off to Germany.
