Bye bye London... Bonjourno Italy. After boarding a Ryan Air flight (with all their heavy gear in their carry-on luggage), and after a really shaky landing by a pilot in training (perhaps)... they descend in the warm Italian early summer day. A few cappuccinos later... they are ready to attack the Latins on their home turf...
HE SAID: more to come... SHE SAID: Did I say I was possibly lactose intolerant? must have been someone else. Caffe Latte, cheese, pizzas, gelato...can you get any more dairy in your system than this? And we fattened up our bodies after the weight loss in Asia (due to extremely healthy food there), now with lots of cheese, wine, bread, cold cuts, and pizza. Every corner of Rome is beautiful...I feel like almost every Roman is beautiful too. I'm overly obsessed here, maybe I should relax.
We had a chance to do lots of walking and sight seeing (see pics), including checking out the Vatican and cheating to avoid the line to the Basilica (I actually prayed in the Basilica for forgiveness afterwards). Funny, because we avoided the line and we ended up going a different way and in the process, passed a newly erected monument on the side of the Basilica of "Soorp Krikor Lousavorich", who established Christianity as a nation state in Armenia, the first nation recognizing it in 301AD. As an Armenian I was floored! More thumbnails ...

Hi guys,
I am still following along with your amazing blog entries - breathlessly awaiting each new adventure! It is so good to see your smiling faces looking out at us from the incredible photos you have posted. I now have a severe travel craving happening - and am stuck here in Canada with no immediate plans to satisfy that craving! Must try to change that ...
