The last moments in Edinburgh... very sad to leave but also looking forward to new adventures. We've made such amazing friends and had amazingly good times, will always remember and will come back; to visit at least. If the weather was better and life not so expensive, Edinburgh would have been our place in the world.
Neither one of us actually realised we are leaving before Friday afternoon and the leaving presents at work. Jo cried when the team gave her a necklace as a memory from Scotland...  The evening continued in Cargo, thanks all of you that made it, it was great to see you all there! Peeps from work

The next day it was time for a wee barbeque - finally, that barbeque had been standing in the garden useless for more than a year :-) ! Barbeque in Jonna's & Rudi's garden

I've never seen so much food in my life and as Rudi put it "there's so much food it's like a wedding!". Never been to a Portuguese wedding but I'd like to! After the bbq it's always good to shake your booty a bit and get the calories moving so we continued to Cabaret Voltaire for conveniently named "The End" party. The Hand

On Sunday Edinburgh put up a real nice fireworks display on our honour, watched it from Inverleith Gardens... And Monday was spent packing and running around the city, still trying to sort out closing that electricity account. And that was it, quicker than you could ever imagine it was really time to step in the plane and head for France, leaving the lovely Auld Reekie behind. Snif.
