So the goodbyes were said, the hugging was done and then they were off. Mi companeros were off to Buenos Aires for their last leg before heading home.

My plan was to get the bus to Bolivia and head for Sucre which is meant to be a pretty place. Just my luck. Demonstrations and a few people killed helped me change my plans. So I flew to Santa Cruz. Got to the airport and hey presto -  not allowed entry....... NO visa.  
It doesnt matter that citizens of the EU do NOT need a visa. Citizens of Malta need a visa.
As far as Bolivia is concerned Malta is NOT not in the EU. Maybe Evo Morales believed Alfed Sant when he said that Labour won the referendum !!!!!!

Anyway. It took a couple of hours and $40 to procure a quick visa. Now in Santa Cruz, where it is very hot and humid. More later folks as need to discover what this town is all about.

Oh god what a nightmare journey...that is the charm of south america though...a law unto itself! Glad you got there in one piece in the end. You have to remember that the best bits of travelling are when it all goes wrong! Were you sad to see all your friends go? or are you looking forward to travelling solo for a while? when do you go to the monkeys? are you travelling a bit first or heading straight there? Thanks for posting all the pictures...so cool to see all the places you've visited...take lots of pictures of the monkeys, i want to see what they're like. Have you met any fellow travellers along the way...and finally...que tal el espanol? has practicado mucho? espero que si!!! hasta luego hombre xxxx

Hey i just realised that i've missed a load of entries...i thought this travel pod thingie alerted me every time you posted something but it doesn't...just watched the viedeos...nice singing...tell your friend i am not happy about his attitude to england being kicked out...RUDE! p.s. who is that posting rude comments after my message?! besos x
