Back in BA from Patagonia and off on a day trip to Uruguay across the Rio de la Plata. The ``river of silver`` which is as brown as. We had a problem when we got there - the tour people who were meant to meet us were nowhere in sight, no bus to take us into Colonia. Luckily it was only a 5 minute walk to Colonia. Why we were meant to be transferred in by bus i do not know. But this is Uruguay, where all are either stupid, drunk, or high.

Had a good day after all, had a sleep on the grass in the afternoon before heading back to the port for our return to BA, which by now is really feeling like home.
