South to Nîmes and sunshine
Entry 15 of 31 | show all | print this entry |
While doing some research on the Internet, I came across what might be a wonderful Feast site for us. So instead of driving straight to Switzerland today, I made a detour down to Provence. The site is in La Grande Motte and tomorrow morning I'll visit it before I head back north to Geneva. I was going to take the day off and just rest, but this site looks interesting enough that I thought it worth the detour. So the day was spent on the road and on the computer keeping up with ongoing projects. The farther south I sent the sunnier and warmer it became. A hundred miles made a very large difference. I left in rain and cool temperatures, and arrived in Nîmes in bright sunshine with a temperature of over 70° F! Tomorrow I won't have to rush, so I may make an interesting stop or two. "A change is as good a rest" they say.

Well I'm glad the weather is warming up! I know that always keeps everyone in a good mood! And I'm glad you've found another possible site, though a lot of the members here are getting excited about the possibility of Normandy! lol.
Love you lots!
