This morning we all three had breakfast at 7:30 so we could leave by 8:00. Daniel and Cindy and I said goodbye until we should meet again in a little over a week. We'll be in Geneva a week from Saturday when we'll all together with the church members in that area.
I spent most of the day, 8 hours, driving down here to Bordeaux which was my next stop. There were passages of rain, sometimes heavy, along the way, but I didn't have any problems, and arrived at 4:30 pm. At around 5:00 Mrs. Bernal, our association secretary, and Mr. Mrs. Muir our treasurer and assistant treasurer arrived for one of our bi-annual board meetings. All of them came after a full work day, the Muirs making a two-hour drive, to participate in this meeting. We met in the hotel lobby, and took care of the business we needed to do on behalf of the French association of the Church, which includes financial reports and planning, activity planning and planning for the Fall festival. We also enjoyed catching up on local and family news as well. It is always a pleasure to see them. Both families are pillars of service for the work our Church is doing in French-Europe. And they're all personal friends as well.
Tonight I'll be able to turn in early, in preparation for all the activities to come in the next few days.

Always a pleasure
Joel,
Always a pleasure to read your entries! You have a very natrual style and I really enjoy your blending of history and the Bible into your narrative.
Thanks for taking me along vicariously!

Thanks from down under..
Thank you for your updates - we were the Australian family at the Feast in 2008 and enjoy hearing of your continuing travels and service. Please pass on our regards to Daniel & Cindy, the Muirs, and all the others who made Colonge La Rouge such a wonderful experience.

Bordeaux area
Hello Joel,
It is nice that you can visit with Brethren in this area and especially that Cindy and Daniel can see you and the other Brethren in France. Daniel and Cindy when you go to Sweden will you be seeing Paul and Kira Spencer in Mjolby?
Reggie and Sandy Warren
hey dad!!
I'm glad to hear both familiesare doing well. It's true that they are amazing pillars of the church, especially since there are so few people out there. Well, I love you lots and hope everything is going well!!
Love,
Fiona
