Dinner in Paris
Entry 3 of 31 | show all | print this entry |
This evening evening Steven Moschidis, a young adult member temporarily working in Paris, met me for dinner. My wife and I first met Steven with his parents in their native Athens (the original one, in Greece) in 1990. Steven speaks Greek (of course), English and French, and studied and worked for several years in London before coming to Paris on a temporary assignment. Over dinner he shared with news of his parents, and Church developments in the London area, and I shared news of francophone areas and the Home Office. It was a very pleasant meal in a small but popular restaurant not far from the hotel.
Half an hour ago about 11:00 pm I received a call from the receptionist: my suitcase had arrived. Oh what a relief it is....
