From Anchorage we flew over the Bering Strait then over a piece of Siberia before finally heading over water to Japan. The personal TV monitors had very cool real-time maps of where we were, including miles traveled and miles to go. I was okay until hour 8 or 9, and then things got a little dicey. I was grateful to make it to Tokyo/Narita Int'l Airport.
