Flag of France  , Provence,

We drove northwards again to a high roadless town called Les Baux which is up on a ridge that you need to walk up to. They say that this town is the most visited in all of Provence, and the off season joy we were experiencing elsewhere evaporated as we were once again engulfed in waves of tourists. It was very justified though with the ancient alleys and churches, not to mention the beautiful view over the Camargue.
The town looked as though it came organically from the earth over centuries. Quite unique.

That night we stayed on the roadside heading to St.Remy where we waited and waited for the traffic to quiet down so that we could indulge in our firecrackers again. Our 20-30 second breaks allowed us to let off quite a few. But as we lit a roman candle it had accidently been facing the road on its side as a car came flying by, as it did the firework shot 3 times at the car as if it were aiming at it each time. Poor people must have thought they were under attack because they sped up and drove quickly away.

The next morning while playing frisby in some random parking lot on the road, our poor frisby met a timely end as it smashed on the rocks. We tried to keep playing with our jagged smashed frisby, which worked for a while but then Jena cut 2 of her fingers. Then it was all over red rover.
