We looked at our big map to see what cool towns our petrol would allow us to travel to and a little yellow highlighted name said 'Savona'.
Savona was a real nice harbor town with quaint tree lined streets, but was really devoid of people. This may have been because of the brutal rain that wasn’t letting up, but otherwise, there seemed to be no tourists. We did though secure an epic parking spot on the edge of the marina in the centre of town which was free, so go us.
We walked around for a while before deciding to check out the huge fortezza that was on the fore shore. Turns out there was nobody in sight thoughout the entire self tour of the castle. There was that eerie feeling like zombies were about to strike, but alas they were probably looking for a couple more cerebral than us because we were fine.

The next morning we were awoken to minions of tourists milling around with tour buses screeching everywhere. Turns out 2 humongous cruise ships had moored in Savona suddenly. Then we really saw zombies.
