Where I stayed
In a valley.

Flag of Luxembourg  , Luxembourg,
Thursday, July 1, 2010

The next couple of days saw us barreling down the inside of Germany, replenishing our supplies at the ever so thrifty Aldi and spending nearly all our weekly finance on just fuel.. The cheapness of the main continent is very refreshing for the wallet, but the smog and pollution isn't as great for the bodies.

When we arrived in Luxembourg, the terrain had once again turned hilly and foresty.
We drove straight into the Luxembourg city and quickly set out to test our brand new scooters we brought in Germany. We got to see so much of the city on our little wheels, it was outstanding. We should have invested in them much earlier. You can cover a block in about 20 seconds. So we were able to zip around all the little streets and parks easily. Luxembourg city is an awesome place to visit. They don’t charge tax on anything, so fuel was nice and cheap. Not to mention the awesome coffee grinds we got too.

As the afternoon came on we abandoned the city to explore some of the countryside in an attempt to find a good park for the night. What we found was a cool little forested valley. We had a great bush walk and then in the evening were able to watch fireflies flit all around our little parking spot.
