Our prime park overnight in Dartmoor national park revealed lots of friendly local animals, all of which refused to eat our carrot. Our destination for the morning was Lydford Gorge, the deepest valley in southern England. (50m pfff…) .

The 3.2 mile walk was outstanding. Even the moss had moss! We even saw moss which glowed in the dark. A lunch in a bird watching booth let us spy on all kinds of birds as well as two incompatible squirrels who fought over the bird-feeder scraps.

A drive to St. Austell which was the home to the 'Eden Project' (see the movie Bio Dome and you will understand). Otherwise it is a bunch of huge domes that house their own self-sustainable forests and environments. Now that I’ve said that: we didn’t even go inside, way too expensive. But the outside looked nice and their gift shop was unforgettable!

What followed was a drive, which would take us to the south west most part of England where we camped on the beach overlooking the island castle of St. Michael’s mount. Best park ever btw, props the driver.
