The Hayward-San Mateo Bridge is an interesting bridge. For most of its length, it runs relatively low to the water. On the San Mateo Side, the bridge arches up so that boats may pass under it. Mena and I lucked out today because the traffic on the bridge was light and we were able to cross it quickly.
