Zac and I got on the small plane at Kona, HI at 4:40pm on Monday 28th.  I dropped into Andy's arms in Crazy Fish at 3:30pm Tuesday 29th.  That's a lot of traveling!!  Felt so good to be with Andy, Maudie and Crazy Fish life once again.  Nothing makes home sweeter than being away.

We found our site at John Tanner State Park on the border of GA and Alabama after leaving the airport in Atlanta.  There are two nice lakes for swimming, boating and fishing, as well as trails for walking and biking. It's a perfect park for a few days to let me get over jet lag and get back into GA time!

After a couple of days of getting caught up, biking and walking the trails, we packed up and got ready to head out when a "teenaged" cat came meowing up to me (Andy) for the 3rd or 4th time since we've been here.  Jack, a 79 yr. old motorcycle riding fulltime RVer came walking over and we talked about the cat which he believed was abandoned.  Both of us fed it some cottage cheese (from Jack) and smoked kippers that we were carrying.  Jack is a trip.  He'll be 80 shortly and he full times in a camper that sits on the back of an old Ford pickup.  Behind the pickup/camper he tows a 20 foot homemade trailer that carries his motorcycle, handtools and power tools including: a drill press, table saw, radial arm saw, router table and welder.  He's a snowbird that goes from Minnesota in the summer, where he's a handyman at a campground, to the south where he travels around during the colder weather.  What an inspiration and an example of living a full, active and physical life into ones later years.

Now our plans are to go to Heifer International Global Village and Teaching Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas.  But that's another story.......................
