Where I stayed
Cabin In the Tree Line
Zac and I flew to Kona, HI from San Fransisco meeting up with my other son, Mercury and his wife, Carlee at the Kona airport. They had to wait for us for a couple of hours .... bummer but it worked out to be the best way for us all to rent a car and get our groceries and get to our Cabin all together!!
We arrived at the "Cabin In The Tree Line" vacation rental in Hawi, HI. Ariel, my niece met us at the cabin a few hours later making our group complete. This cabin was soooo perfect for us and our needs we would definitely rent again! Here is the info in case any of you readers get the chance to go to the North point of the Big Island.

My brother, Reed and his wife, Anna have been dreaming of a home in Hawaii for many years
Reed and Anna have two wonderful daughters, Sara and Emily. Sara fell in love with Rob and so did all of us!! We are all so pleased to welcome Rob into our huge family!! The wedding being a destination wedding, they may have assumed many folks would say, "thanks but I really can't make it that far".... instead....everyone said, "yes, wouldn't miss it for the world"!! People love Reed and Anna and their girls!!! To meet them is to love them.
To make the commitment to go to Hawaii more reasonable we all stayed for a week
Getting to catch up with family and meet new friends is one of the best things about weddings--- at this wedding it happened in spades! I hope to keep in touch with some of my new friends as we go around in our RV we can hook up in common places. There were the usual wedding exaggerations of drinking, dancing and general whooping it up....all in Technicolor for personal stories! Reed, Anna and Sara organized events for us all to join which helped people get out there and experience, for instance, Zip lining or golfing or hiking down a steep path to a black sand beach that they may have not done without the nudge out the door.
My fellow cabin folk did not need nudging! We all went to beaches and valleys and cliffs and surfer spots and bars, and stores etc etc etc...fantastic! I begged out of only one main hike and I wish I had done that too
I could go on about every aspect of this Hawaiian wedding in the hills...but then I might lose some readers.....just know that everything was more wonderful and more interesting and more delicious than I can write!!
It was one of the wedding greats to be remembered forever! I believe it was a strong and true send off to a strong and true couple who will share in life for the rest of their days.
