Where I stayed
Hard Labor Creek State Park
Many well marked and maintained trails for hiking and horseback riding. Easy paved roads through out to get you over to the beach at the swimming lake or the ramp at the boating lake or the group use building with large rolling lawn down to the water for fishing and kayaking/canoeing. There are playgrounds and a terrific group BBQ area with facilities for preparation, grilling, eating and washing up.
A store completes the campground with just about everything one might need or forgot to pack
Andy and I chose this park because it is only about 30 miles east of Atlanta where I was taking a plane to California to visit my son, Zachariah. It was perfect! I am always on the lookout for a park where I can invite friends and family to come visit us during our RV lifestyle. This park does the trick. There is every style of camping including fabulous cabins! Great facilities for groups that want to get together and play and eat and talk. Not to mention a masters level golf course!! All this only 45 minutes from the Atlanta airport!!
Off to San Francisco and beyond!!
