A "mini" Sister Reunion! Andy and I take longer to drive the same distance that a car does so we ambled our way on down to Estero and got to Darcy and Bill's house just in time for drinks before dinner. Darcy and I talked non-stop while Bill and Andy solved the economic crises in America.
Andy and I stayed at Koreshan State Park as we did last year and once again found it an excellent park even without the over the top addition of Darcy and Bill! Andy and Bill went their own way while Darcy and I got to be sisters for all day Saturday. Dar shared with me her favorite second hand shop, The Goodwill Boutique! I found five excellent additions to my sorely lacking wardrobe. I am now way more stylin!! We enjoyed a terrific lunch and hunted down my favorite perfume.....long story.....
The whole time Dar and I are together, we get to share about all that is in our hearts and minds and it feels so good. It feels so good to have sisters that care and listen and share with love and acceptance. I am looking forward to our next "Sister Renunion" when Lee and Edwina can join too......but I'll take the reunions any way I can get them!
On Sunday Bill suggested we go to a beach nearby so we all packed lunches and piled into the car. The beach is gorgeous! The pictures tell it better than words!! After a long day of beach walking, shell collecting, people watching and a bit of swimming.....we all went to our respective homes for showers and regrouping. It was Super-Bowl Sunday so Bill was definitely watching the game.....Andy decided to do Andy stuff in Crazy Fish and Dar and I dressed up and took ourselves out to a great Japanese Wok dinner.
Ain't life grand? See you next year if not before!!!!
