Using our GPS unit we drove directly to Ginger's house...."cute as the dickens!!!" Ginger and her house that is! A cozy, light filled home 'at the ready' for easy living and entertaining lots of friends at a moments notice. A warm swimming pool and a hot, hot tub to entice anyone who knows Ginger to come on over and relax.
Ginger was out riding her bike while we were greeted in "Boulder style" warmth and enthusiasm by Tracy who had been floating around on the pool in a tube reading a book....shading her pages with her straw cowboy hat. We knew we had found the place!
Ginger showed up and we three took off on a bike ride to get to know her neighborhood and downtown Boulder
Ginger took a shower while I put some laundry in her machines.....thank you Ginge! We all had a fabo Vietnamese dinner at a place Ginger was familiar with. Excellent! The conversation never lapsed as we reminisced and caught up with present and future plans. We have a lot of friends in common and that takes a while to learn the scoop on our shared loved ones.
Slept like babes and off and talking all morning. Andy took his hiatus by focusing in on his computer while Ginge and I rambled on. Ginge and I did some errands in town that needed being done before her trip to Greece Monday. Here she is only hours away from a trip to Greece and she is coolly and calmly being the gracious hostess for us!! She is a wonder!
By 1:30pm we were ready to leave and Ginger was off to her massage to be loose and limber for the long flight ahead.
I love you Ginger!!! See you soon, always in my heart!

. Ginger was moving along at quite a clip for this photo-journalist so not many pix were gotten on that trip. So, dear reader, please know that Ginger was a superlative tour guide as she pointed to buildings and streets and told their tales. We passed the Boulder creek and admired the fortitude of the folks dipping in even as the sun was setting behind the Flatirons. Boulder as many of you already know, is a youthful, invigorating and heart pumping town. It has sporty and artsy and cowboy and punk, and hippie all mixed together in a lovely jumble.
