Wednesday, August 13th

Our new great friend, Alec Duncan (Architect extraordinaire of "arKINETIC"), chose Route 20 as our journey to "the Knuckle" of Oregon. He said that Rte 20 and the Washington Pass would be a journey in and of itself. IT WAS !!!

We stayed over at the Pearrygin State Park because it has a little lake for us to swim in. Ahhhhhh.....lovely! Hot air and cool water.....nothing better! The nearest town is Winthrop that, as you can see from the pictures is a reconstructed version of an old Western towne. Very quaint and full of fun.

Route 20
What a beautiful drive through the Cascades! I also like the town of Winthrop. Will you be staying there for awhile? Now that you're heading east, does that mean that we'll get to see you?
