Awoke rested and full of anticipation. We opened our door to find some of Mercury smoked salmon and a precious note from, 'the boy'!! Thanks Merc! We enjoyed the salmon for a snack on the ferry and then again for dinner at the park. You're a sweetie pie! Your note made us realize our names create the acronym; JAM we are "the jam" man!
Caught the Ferry out of Port Townsend to Whidbey Island. We loved the ferry ride and I have decided that a ferry, might just be the perfect home! A fabulous garage and plenty of house and space for gardens!! Super sea worthy and room for friends. Andy said, "Sure Podie".
Whidbey Island is a very agricultural and horse oriented Island. Beautiful. Picked up route 20 and stayed at Bay View State Park. At the park we found absurd amounts of blackberries as true for all over Bainbridge too. Andy found many ready for the pick'in as well as ripe and scrumptious rose hips.

Toe JAM
But fortunately not 'toe jam' as per earlier entry. It is only too bad the runner did not have a football on Toe Jam Road, ala the Beatles' 'Come Together'.
