Today I'd hoped to start the bodywork.
It pissed it down all day :(
It took a while to scrub up the bodywork - seems like it had never been cleaned. Ever.
Quick service - happily all is well - this thing is unbelievably solid.
Painted up the front wheels - so the vaguely match the back hubcaps.
Silver paint is cheaper than new hubcaps.
Arranged to pick up some old radio cassette players from someone's shed via freecycle next week - we need choons. Otherwise I'll probably drive Stu mad with hand-farting and whistling.
Got the airhorns fitted and was so excited to hear them for the first time.
Visions of dixie...
... and I got La Cucaracha!
So now we're the scottish/mexican dukes of hazzard!
