Ayacucho - celebrating life!

"Celebrating Life"
After the most terrifying bus journey of our lives...
A single track zigzagged through the mountains, with hairpin bends and bridges made of tree trunks. We sat at the front of the bus and we thought that we were gonners for sure. We maintained the highest level of anxiety for a whole 12 hours, as the coach went round corners and the road disappeared from view!!!!!!!!
Arriving at our hostel, we celebrated with beers and cigs (lots of them!) because we were both still alive!!!! Until that is the following day, when we sat underneath a tree in the main plaza and got eaten alive!!! Jo came out worst with a grand total of 31 insect bites on her legs!!
Nice place to stop over for a chill on our way to Cuzco!
