The trip from LA to Melbourne was better than we all expected. The 747 we were on had individual screens for each seat and had not only TV but games and of course a satellite phone. All of this was pure heaven for the boys and kept them entertained for the first hur after which Marc and Chris fell asleep. I was asleep not long after and Andre fell asleep about an hour after that. We started waking up when there was 4.5 hours left to the flight. Not bad.. we all got some sleep! (7-8 hours worth no less). The travel information and maps shouwn as we flew showed us flying at 880 km/h and by the time we arrived we had tavelled more than 7600 miles! Really pretty incredible. The good thing is that the boys can't wait for the flight back!
Getting through immigration and customs was pretty straight forward and we got to the hotel within about an hour of arrival. Altogether a pretty non-eventful trip.
