I kept true to "observe the Sabbath" even while away... the season finales on ABC Sunday were so emotional. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in New Orleans really showed me a world full of have-nots. It made me grateful for the privileges I have in my life. I thought malls in American were crazy, but the ladies of Wysteria Lane are nuts... and omg: Catherine! The evening was topped off with an emotional service at this really cool temple-like episode of Brothers and Sisters. The people there are so attractive and interesting.
Overall, people here (i.e. on television) are generally more attractive than the people I'm used to at home. In fairness, most of my friends are dirty hippies, but most of them are pretty hot once they've showered and applied a paper bag over their face.
The night life has been really crazy: for Top Chef on Wednesday night we went to this great restaurant... who would have known they had amazing Puertican food here! The only bitter part of the evening was that bitchy Lisa with her new... well Mama said, "if you can't say anything nice..." Afterwards on Thursday during Step it Up and Dance, we went to this amazing venue to get some serious dancing done. Omg, totally went home at the end of the night with Cody as the winner of hte $100,000 prize.
I know I'm totally going to wake up with the nastiest Bravo TV hangover... will have to wash that down with some Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (starting June 12)... I can't fucking wait.
