1 Night in La Rochelle. Stayed at a nice hotel, but were lectured that the rooms "weren't meant for eating in" when we tried to bring back some pizza and pasta for dinner. So instead we ate in a public square at the base of a monument and had a much better time there. This is a pretty seaside town that seems to get a lot of tourism. Worth the stop.
