Logrono to Puente la Reina
Felt like lots of uphill today! The average was prolly only 100-150 meters but the four times we climed a long uphill plus all the heat (it was 34c at 8pm!) made the downhills seem way too short. We stopped in Estelle for lunch which was a cute town. We found a nice park to sleep in for a couple hours to try and beat some of the heat

. This helped a lot. They are having some sort of midevil festival this week but we were too hot and sleepy to follow up on it. When we finally got to Puente la Reina, we were so beat that we just found a supermercado and then an alberge, no sight seeing because we were too tired. We made sandwiches for dinner and then, when we were half through eating, several people offered us their leftovers so they didn't have to throw them out. We got some great lentils, salad, beer, and cider(see earlier reference to cider). What a feast. We bought sandwich stuff because all we have is one pot that can only be used to boil water or make soup, no bowls, and I believe only one knife/fork/spoon set. Not really useful except in an emergency. Turns out, this alberge has a full kitchen for everyones use. Nice to know for future reference.
