After a short, one hour flight to Hong Kong with only the occasional bleating of the Travelsphere lady we found our transport company and were loaded into a giant Mercedes car and whizzed off to our hotel on Kowloon Peninsula.
 
Annie has two friends, Cindy and Stella, from her University days who live in Hong Kong and have not seen each other for at least 10 years.
 
We checked into our hotel and phoned Cindy to find out where we were meeting for supper. It was a quick taxi ride before there were hugs all around and much catching up over a delicious Chinese meal.
 
We fell into SOFT beds, something seldom experienced in Mainland Chinese hotels, and slept like logs.
