After a very lazy morning, which was quite a treat after all these early starts, we had a late breakfast before setting off back to UB. A few stops later to admire rock piles and mountains and we were back in UB and this time in the hotel we had wanted all along and oh what a pleasure; modern, clean, and, most importantly, safe.
 
After checking in we were taken to do some shopping and, being the great shoppers we are, we got back to the hotel with a few postcards :-)
 
That was the end of our escorted time so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the hotel, wandering through the shopping centre attached to the hotel where we had a bite to eat and ended our stay with a very tasty Mongolian beer.

Tomorrow we head back to Beijing where we will be for the next few days to celebrate Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and then visit the Great Wall.
