Next stop was Mt Nebo to see what is apparently the final resting place of Moses and the place where he is said to have first seen The Promised Land. En route we had our first obligatory shop stop to see how mosaics are made and the opportunity to buy mosaics ("we'll deliver tables worldwide for free") and Dead Sea products. We chose to have tea instead. At Mt Nebo there is an Italian designed crucifix styled memorial with a snake entwined around it next to a direction finder showing where the various cities in Israel are. Sadly we were back in misty season again so the views were not as distant as we would have hoped for.
