By the time we finally exited Heathrow it was almost 10am and happily Delia and Don were there to greet us.  Delia is an old school friend of mine who I've know almost all my life and I have stayed in London with her on a number of occasions and they have visited us once in Adelaide too.  (Their daughter Tracy lives in Perth so we are expecting to be able to catch up with them in Australia again now that Barb and Shane are also living in Perth.)
Today we have spent catching up on family news and plan to have an evening meal at a nice Italian restaurant in Ealing (a town where Marg Rice once lived) - then tomorrow (23rd) Delia and I are off to a school reunion - meeting up with around 20 of our old school mates at the restaurant attached to Covent Garden Opera House.
