Arrived safely in Toronto from Melbourne, via Los Angeles on 9th June. Stayed in Toronto for two days. First day just walked around the City then took a double decker bus back to Delta Chelsea our hotel for the two days.
Next day (11th) we took a tour bus down to see the mighty Niagara Falls. Fantastic day out. 27degsC clear and fine all day. Took the famous Maid of the Mist boat trip right up to the two enormous water falls (American and Canadian) Horseshoe falls on the Canadian side was the most impressive and after getting very wet felt we'd had the full experience.
Today (12th) took VIA train from Toronto to Dorval (near Montreal) were met by Dave and Jill Cheney who took us to their house in Beaconsfield. Jill was a school friend and we hadn't met since 1959 so it was quite an event and we have lots of catching up to do over the next couple of days.
