Chris was up early, went to the orchard and picked up grapefruit! He squeezed a dozen of them and made a great jug of very refreshing juice! After breakfast we were on our way to Ronda.
Around the mountain, through a mountain up another and so on and so on and so on. Quite the day for driving but also a great day for sight seeing in Ronda. Up the curvy roads we went and quickly moved Kate into the front seat. She does get car sick! We thought Chris may have been the one who got sick because of his first night, but he was great!

When we arrived in Ronda we were surprised at the activity, there was a buzz in the air, another Easter Parade! There were lots of locals coming to see it, all dressed to the nines. Today was the day for the Parade of Silence: all went quiet when the procession passed.

We were not alone in the Tourist department, many others today! Spain is certainly the holiday spot for Europeans, their Florida or California. We had Tapas for our lunch, fresh asparagus tempura, artichokes, tomato mozzarella salad, fresh and wonderful! We walked to the bridge and through the town, and this time Tony went to the bottom along what looked liked a goat path with Chris! Kate and I stayed at the top checking out the local shops and waited for them in the square. They were pretty tired on their return!

We certainly noticed that everything was a lot greener and more flowers were in bloom since our last visit. We had our first Spanish Ice Cream cone, yep, just as good as Italy! The ice cream is so creamy, hand made and full of flavour, natural flavour! As I write this I want another right now.

When we arrived back in Coin they too were preparing for their Good Friday parade! We were too tired to hang around and we were all very ready to head home to our own place, a big day! I had prepared a sausage and roasted pepper salad earlier so it was ready for everyone when they wanted to eat. Tony decided to try his hot peppers in his dish, we think he has met his match!

We watched an old movie, Reese Wetherspoon was 13, " Man in the Moon" a sappy tale but it entertained us long enough to postpone bedtime a couple of hours. That is how tired we all were. Chris was first to go,

I wish you all a very Happy Easter!
