Ok, I am in the middle of nowhere in africa and have not had cheap and fast internet since egypt so i have not been able to update. But anyway, a quick update at least for the rest of egypt... We ended up going to the red sea and spending three wonderful days in Dehab diving and enjoying the beach. The atmosphere is so chill and relaxed it is mind blowing. We move on from there and see a few more brilliant tombs and egyptian sites. We end the main part of the trip at Mt. Sinai. This has a great deal of religous history and we had the honor of spending the night and morning hiking it to arrive on top to see a most breath taking sunset out across the mountain and desert region. The hike down was very tough on my foot that was shattered last year. I made it both up and down so it gave me confidence that I could possibly still do the base camp Mt. Everest hike in Nepal in a few months. After the hike we headed back to Cairo, stopping a few spots along the way. We had a wonderful last evening in Cairo, we ended up all going out to a bar and enjoying each others company for the last time over a few bottles of beer (ok maybe more than a few :) More happened but the sum of it was I had a wonderful time in Egypt and will rate it up there with the best of them in places to visit.
Now on to the hectic part. I get to the airport and they will not let me on to the plane since I do not have proof of an outgoing ticket from africa. The visa will not allow to enter without proof of a pre purchased ticket. I am freaking out since it is in Cape Town at the Student Travel office (it was mailed from the US office to there). I keep going at them and not budging when they tell me there is nothing they can do and I will need to come back. To make a long story short, I slip the guy 'proof' of my ticket in way of egyptian pounds ($$) under the table per say. I was so stoked to get on that plane I can not describe it in words. If he would not have taken the bribe, I would have wasted a 700 dollar ticket and been stuck in egypt. I made it to United Arab Emirates for the night to catch my flight to Johansasburg, South Africa in the morning.

Ok, it is costing me a fortune to type this so it is on a weird keyboard and I am rushed so I am not taking time to proof read it. Sorry if it does not make sense.
