Holy Fuck! I was just 3000m in the air, up in the clouds, flying above the condors. Next thing I was spiralling towards the earth in a controlled drop. Then up, then down. Amazing.

This morning I woke up at 8:30, had breakfast, then sat in a car for about an hour till we got to the top of a cliff overlooking a beautiful canyon. Then I got strapped into a harness, strapped to another person and ran off the side of said cliff. Luckily, there was a large parachute attached to the guy and we were off flying through the sky. We started doing circles above little houses and the grand canyon, getting higher and higher catching the updrafts. At one point we made it all the way up into a cloud, where all I could see was white in all directions. Then my guide said something like "hold on" and we were spiralling towards the ground. The whole thing last for a good 30 minutes up in the air with a few 'death spirals'. The videos and pictures should show it a bit better. Paragliding, what can I say, you're adrenaline is pumping one minute,
the next you're enjoying the amazing view and realizing how cold it is. Great fun.

Oh Honey,

I am so glad that you are taking it easy, getting some rest, and staying safe. Are you nuts? You are lucky you are so far away - otherwise I may have to beat you over the head for doing crazy things. Are you trying to get all of your adventures in before Elise arrives?
I still plead with you to stay safe.

Love you.

And Elise would like some adventures too! Save some of the adrenaline junkie escapades for my impending arrival please... and be careful! I don't want to have to modify my rock star pace because you're too tired to keep up ;)

No worries there. I am now hooked on adventure. Today exploring the new town felt slightly boring compared to the last while.
