Where I stayed
When, I arrived I was approached by a guide and we negotiated and agreed on the price. My guide, was very knowledgeable and once in awhile when we stop he would start playing is Quena which looks like a flute. Pisac ruins, was pretty impressive, for me I was afraid of heights and I didn't feel much when I was at Machu Picchu and climbed Huayna Picchu but I felt more at this ruins since there were places that you go up and down and there is nothing to stop you from falling if you slip. Near the end, I asked him how much was a Quena and he said a price which was pretty expensive compared to others. He told me that he makes them by himself and opened his bag and showed me them. After, negotiating with my guide I have a Quena and hopefully it was custom made :)
Machu Picchu, Ollantayambo and Pisac ruins I visited. I felt that Machu Picchu was definately worth it and I felt Ollantayambo ruins was much better than Pisac.
At the end, my taxi driver was waiting for me at the end of the ruins for my return ride back to the bus station. I just made a bus that was going to Cusco. When, on the way to Cusco we went past a minibus that I guess rolled over and it was over on its side just a few inches away from the edge of the cliff wow! That scared the shit of me, even though I heard horror stories of taking local buses, I never thought it would be that dangerous. Personally, I could have spent more taking taxis between towns but I felt that would have missed interacting with locals and how locals travel etc.
After arriving at Cusco, took a taxi to Plaza De Armas so I can goto my hostel, Amaru Hostel. Got my luggage that I left there before going to Sacred Valley, picked up my Inka Express ticket for tomorrow and then went to my room and rested, legs a bit sore but was walkable :)
Booked my hotel, Hotel El Lago for tomorrow when I am in Puno for the night. Then, walked to SAS Travel Peru, so I can book two tours that I had planned to book from. First was the 1 day Uros/Taquille Island in Puno and then a 2 day / 1 night Colca Canyon Tour.
Dropped by the restaurant which I went two times while I was in Cusco last and had some lite dinner. After, went to hostel to relax and sleep.
