Ngepi Campsite is without a doubt an original piece of work that could never be repeated.  It is on the most beautiful spot of river and takes advantage of this at every opportunity.  There is a caged off swimming pool in the river that allows you to "swim" with hippos and crocs, beautiful tree houses that are open air and facing the river, and toilets and bathtubs that are worked into their natural environment and many have views of the river, and people on the river may have a view or two of you as well.  We spent two days here, just relaxing and soaking in the natural harmony.  Heath and I got a treehouse for our last night and watched the sunset from the balcony.  The sky was pink and lavender and hippos laughed in the distance.  We were woken up at 5 am by a hippo laughing right outside our balcony.  He was SO loud that we both woke up with a jump.  If you are in the area, I HIGHLY recommend this place!
