For me Lake Louise ranks as the second most beautiful place I have ever visited, second only to Alaska.  The hostel here rocks, one of the best I have ever stayed in.  Yesterday blessed me with blue skies and a phenomenal day.

The rest of the time in Banff was just as awesome.  The second day there it rained and snowed but that meant that there were very few tourists out on the trails, plus I went on a less popular hike but to a very beautiful and desolate area called, appropriately, Paradise Valley.  The third day I mountain biked all over the place and had pretty good weather but cold and windy.  Again, I saw no one out on the mountain bike trails.  Everyone pretty much sticks to things near the parking lot there.
