I had an absolutely fantastic and relaxing time visiting and catching up with Scott and Michele in Sacramento.  They made a delicious and fresh dinner of tuna, grilled veggies, and couscous and we were joined by Dave, Mel and Aliya which really made it delightful to have my college roommates, Mel and Scott, and I back together and able to catch up.  I also enjoyed a great day with my son, Morgan, exploring, having fun, and catching up in Sonoma and Napa counties.

(I moved to the final entry the Frequently Asked Questions entry that I originally wrote here)

Cool :)
Just wanted to stop by and say that I really enjoy reading your blogs. I can relate a lot to this one, specifically. For example, I find myself having to defend Americans and our culture on an almost daily basis. But I think it is mostly because I am around a lot of younger Kiwis and their views are a bit skewed.
And also about backpacking... having to move every 2 or 3 days and re-adjusting to the layouts of the town and where everything is. When I went on my trip over Easter break around the north island it was somewhat stressful!
I can only imagine what the reverse culture shock will be like after I return to the states. Granted I will have only been gone 9 months, and only experienced Kiwi and Aussie life.
Anyway, as they say here; 'good on ya!' for doing all that you have done and your accomplishments. I still have a lot of reading to do to catch up on your blogs!

:)
