Around 11 AM we pulled into a tiny village called Mt. Surprise (I kid you not) and, Surprise!, found out the road is closed.  A creek up ahead had was flowing 1.3 meters over the road.  So, turned around and had to head farther south where we encountered not one more but two more road closures.  Luckily these were passable and not truly closed.

Creek Crossing?
Gee - Jeff Kirby encountering a creek crossing. Where have I heard that one before? This time, I didn't see anything about the car getting stuck though! You must be getting wiser in your old age!
