Today we went to The Fort Worth Stockyards. The first thing we saw was a cattle drive which was cool. Cowboys were steering bulls around the street of the stockyard. We then went to a gun fight. It should not be called a gun fight as there were only single shots of the gun. They used real guns but only blanks. It as actually a storyline and very funny (or so the adults thought). The guns were really loud. After this ended Nic and I went on the mechanical bull. It went really fast and I found it uncomfortable. There are uploaded videos of us on the bull! Then we went on a real bull. Dad took some photos of us. Mum saw an ice cream place and as it was so hot we bought an ice cream to cool us down from the heat of 48C.When we went into billy bobs, the worlds largest honky tonk we got some lemonade and walked around. WOW it really is huge!!!! Dad tried to get Nic a ball but failed. After we went out of the Honky Tonk we went to the visitors centre where us kids got two free badges each a sheriff badge and a fort worth badge. Then we walked to the arena here Pawnee Bills was on. This show was mainly tricks. They stood on horses, they showed us how to cow wrangle, they herded cows and one lady even had enough daring to put a foot in a stirrup and let go of the horse, her hands were touching the ground! We had had a very busy day.
