This marks the end of my New York chapter and also the first half of my adventure.  It may be short-sighted to call it a perfect city, but every moment here has provided an indelible experience. I would also venture to say that this city is also one of immense romance.  I can think of no more perfect a day as to begin with the sunrise over central park, ambling through the narrow lanes of the village and SoHo, absorbing the bright lights of Broadway and Times Square with the magic of a matinee, sunset over the city at the apex of the Empire state, dinner at French Laundry and finally, a late night dessert in the Upper West Side.
If romance is not in your airs the wonders of New York should not escape you.  For this is a city with all things for all people.  Between the boroughs, and even within them one stray step and you may well step into another world.  Being of new sounds, sights and smells.  Although my stay was deeply satisfying, I am certain I have merely scratched its surface.  I leave with a yearning to learn more and come back, if not as a visitor then as a resident.  The city stands alone as one of contrast and contradiction, yet it blends together with such an infectious harmony that one cannot help but march to her beat.

For restaurant deals and bar specials I use the book 365 Guide New York City Nothing but deals so I can afford the city.
