Well finally after almost two months I spoilt myself and stayed in a hostel. Bed, towel, roof, walls, TV, heating and a floor. Paradise! I dont want to go outside ever again! well weŽll see.

Punta Arenas is a small city, larger than any of the towns I have visited previously. I went to the supermarket yesterday and was overcome with joy at the selection and amount of food available. The city is on the ocean but the Plaza and main streets are about 10 blocks away. I havnt been down to have a look, it dosnŽt look that inviting, It has the feeling of being more of a port rather than a sandy beach. The weather is cold and windy which makes being inside feel exta cozy.

Ill be heading North to Osorno in a day or two.
