Back to Bangkok for the King's birthday, the longest reigning monarch in the world . The colour of the king is yellow so we realised we had to go out and buy a yellow top to help us fit in a little.
Boy am I glad we did. EVERYONE was really wearing yellow...it was crazy! People lined the streets of the planned route of the King's motorcade...we saw him twice in the day by chance. There was free food, free entertainment and free water, including free ice cream!! UK, take note please!
There were amazing fireworks right over head to the point where we could feel bits of the fireworks falling on our heads!
Being back in Bangkok also meant we got to catch up with our favourite lads that we initially met (and nearly drowned with) in India...Fiona and Brendon...yeah!!! Laughing, drinking and dancing!!! Had a great time!Needless to say we all drank far to excessively to the early hours of the morning and regretted it the next day....a top evening, a good catch up!
