We booked a sleeper train to Goa for the Friday evening.  The train left at 11pm and was to take 12 hours.  The sleeper train was our first experience of trains in India and we were pleasantly surprised.  (It did take us 2 days to get our tickets though as we didn't ever seem to have the right ID on us!)
