Made it safely into town.  We went on a harbor cruise this morning just as we arrived which was great.  Saw all the sights from the water.  (Opera House, Harbor bridge and a view of downtown).
Tonight we meet up with Gary and Kay Hopkins for dinner.  They are old Bendix friends and retired too.
Tomorrow is the 4 of us golfing at New South Wales GC.  Best around the area we are told, overlooking the Tasman Sea.  Well, off to our small room here downtown Sydney.  


Jim's dad died this AM so we will off the travel blog a while.  Don't know many details but Bye for now.

How long will you be able to visit with your two friends? That sounds like fun. How does Australia compare to NZ? With all the golf you two have done, you won't miss a beat when you return to OH for their season. Was that the plan all along???? Enjoy the day, travelers (and by the way, what happened to 'Happy' travelers??? You only sign with the Travelers now . . . . hmmmmmm!!!!: ) Over and out, Linda

Dear Jim and Lee:

Our sympathy goes out to you both. We were sorry to hear about Jim's dad. This must be a difficult time for you especially when you are so far away. Our prayers will be with you for continued safe travels.
