Happy New Year friends! We brought our New Year in with a bang, literally, taking advantage of DIY fireworks. Being Aussies we had absolutely no idea how to use them and managed to set some off in the lounge - eek! Much hilarity before Simon's misspent youth came in handy and he sorted them out for us to spectacular results. Also giggles at Simon's 70's costume, mullet and mo, pics will entertain I'm sure - he makes such a good bogan!
We've been having a great time with Megs and Coops' at their new pad in London, and trying to catch up with all the London crew. Caught a Sheffield game at the pub where they beat Arsenal, we were the only supporters and had to celebrate very quietly in the corner! But YAY! I'm determined to catch a game in Sheffield with Ray and Irene.
We finally made it onto the London Eye, so feel like we have 'officially' been to London now. Also star spotted and rubbed shoulders with 'Daffyd' who was the row in front of us at Evita, London is cool! And Evita was fantastic too.
I'm still trying to come to terms with the whole budgeting thing. We didn't pick the easiest country to start with! sigh. But I'm having a really good time and that's the important thing right?! We are heading to Ireland for 10 days next week (postponed from today as we left our passports 100 miles away!) so stay tuned...
Snow update: Still nothing. The closest has been freezing fog which was very cool and looked kind of like snow, coating everything in ice. There have been predictions for snow in the next fortnight (and if not, there's always Sweden).
Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year, looking fwd to hearing from you all soon x Love Jill & Simon xx

It is my first day back at work today and having trouble getting into the swing of things. Have a fantastic time in Ireland. Look forward to hearing all about it.

Jill E!
What are you missing in lil ole Adelaide other than your workmates? :-)

40 degree temps mediated with 19 degree temps the next day, Karen got a full time job! So did Jodie! Everyone else is preparing for some gruelling interviews. Dont forget our newest attraction - two gentlemen in the lobby who had to be escourted off the premises by Police!

Take care
