did my catch with this trick, although this time I smacked into Lucas instead of Dylan. I’m also trying to learn another one, it’s a straddle, and it’s more difficult than I thought it would be. You don’t get to see the catcher at all before you go into your flight. Hope to get it right next week. Of course the flights of this week are posted on this site.
After class it was only the beginning of the afternoon and because the weather was great I thought about visiting a beach at Coney Island or Brighton Beach
the destructed areas where Sandy hit the land. The amusement park on Coney Island looked more like one of my –under-construction- parks from Rollercoaster Tycoon games. So after an hour I left the beach again. I needed to do my run anyway and I’m planning on going to do that in Brooklyn Bridge park!
The run on the Brooklyn Bridge went ok! It’s a tough route I must say. It’s a long bridge, with small paths and tourists wondering all over the place and there are bikers as well. Half of the tour is hard, since you’re going uphill and half of it is somewhat easier since you’re going down. It has great
views on the Brooklyn Bridge, Lower Manhattan, Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan Bridge. If I’m getting a thrill out of this short run, how must people feel when they do full marathon in New York (sorry folks, not this year of course). And I never jumped on a bus before I got a run, and then run back at the end to catch a bus to get back again. It’s amazing what you’ll do for some crazy goals!
