The Aboriginals have quite a dominent presence here. We all stayed safe at the local bar the first night - with even the men taking taxi's after dusk.

Checked out the town - which has increased in size since the railway made it's way into 'the Centre'.

ANZAC (Australia New Zealand Army Corps) Hill - good view of the town, Todd River and the orange MacDonnell Ranges in the background - NB best not to climb it at noon as you melt and there's no protection from the sun at the top!

Old School with individual desks and chalk boards all set for a class and masses of photographs of the kids and the lady who first set the school up. Building quite interesting - saved by the NT.
The Flying Doctors - bit disappointing to be honest but they are in the middle of refurbishing the joint. The museum had old telephone communications and the plane set-up etc.

Once more I found myself dipping my feet into the cool waters of swimming pool whilst waiting for transport to the airport.
