So I said goodbye to my dad, dropped Kerry, Mary and Tom at the airport and it was Molly and I on the lonely road South for the next week.
I made it as far as Townsville and the following morning got the boat to Magnetic island where I walked around and had some lunch. Back on the road in the afternoon and down as far as Proserpine, 100km shy of Mackay. The next day I drove for 12 hours and broke it's back, reaching Hervey Bay only 150km from Brisbane.
The next three days I spent on the beach and in a backpackers bar and was there to meet Kerry as she came off the plane on Friday, just in time to make it to Ben and Skyes wedding on the Saturday.
